    hi guys!!

i'm marco and i'm writing from the other side of the ocean! i'm 26 and i'm from bologna, italy!

so please forgive my poor english and correct me when i write wrongly!

i'll soon introduce to you my 1987 XJ900F! only one year younger than me!! :D

i bought it in april 2012, for 500€ from a friend of mine and it only had 27.000 km on the odometer! (do i have to convert it in miles??  )

i went to corse last summer and i spent my winter nights transforming it in my own cafe racer!
nothing irreversible! i could get back to original when i want! (is this a good sentence in english??  )

so.. i'll send you some picture as son as possible!!

    bye!

Welcome to the forum lo_zarro. I was able to understand you just fine. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I'm changing one of my other bikes to a cafe racer and I like to get ideas from guys who have already done it.

    27K km = 16K mi ...

Your English is probably going to be better than most Americans ...

    "Corse" should be "course". :)

    thanks! :D

i did'n mean "course" i meant Corse: the french island in the mediterranean sea!! a paradise for motorcycling: wonderful roads, wonderful places and, above all, wonderful asphalt!

are there differences between european and american models??

this is not a photo of my own bike, but it's the same model in the same colours! i should have a couple of photo of my XJ with bags and ready to leave italy!! i'll check!
