I'd say pretty close to 300 lbs.

Why? It's not 300lbs, at least not what you end up removing from the frame with everything else off of it. Somewhere more in the 150lb range is more likely. No way I could remove 300 lb engine by myself

I'm guessing somewhere around 60-70 kilos. Depends on what level of disassembly you have done prior.
I managed fine to get it up from ground level to a table 130cm high two years ago, and down from there to the frame.

ive carried a 700 motor all by myself (without the head) from my garage to my shed, and the head is probably another 25 lbs + by itself.... i'd say altogether, wet 150-175

I would be with Erman and ManBot and guess somewhere in the 70Kg bracket (150lbs to you Imperialists). I was able to lift it minus exhaust with a bit of grunting and with 2 friends we were easily able to manhandle it back into the chassis in a delicate fashion without scratching my newly sprayed chassis.

i find reading this scary. i lift out and move my 750 motor, with valve cover and starter attached. no exhaust or carbs. its effort but i did it often. take motor out of bike, move it from shed to house and back a cupple times. and put motor back in.
