After all this bike put me through in the last few months (petcock leaking, an army of electrical gremlins, carbs flooding crankcase twice,) I finally got to go for a real ride.

IT WAS AWESOME!!! These bikes are incredible. I can't stop grinning like a freaking lunatic. :D I'm glad I stuck with it now.

I racked up a whole 1.6 miles on the bike today and I can't wait to actually get my motorcycle license.

The last month or so the bike just sat there, either because I was rewiring or because carbs were in a hundred pieces, or I was was working 65-70 hours a week. It was a much needed reminder of why I wanted a motorcycle in the first place.

I try to wear pants whenever in public. I bet that 60 MPH breeze would feel pretty good though. :D
