Can anyone tell me if a XJ900f engine will fit straight into a XJ750 SECA frame, im thinking of fitting one into my trike. Looking at the mountings they look the same......but looks can be wrong

The 900, and 750 use the same engine mounting points. You will need to get the TCI, and carbs with the engine also.

Are you talking about the 1983 Seca 900RK and the 1984 Seca 750RL, or any Seca 750?

The 900F, and the 900R use the same engine. There will be no problems with bolting it into the 750RJ Seca frame. They all use the same mounting points.

Make sure you get the carbs, and TCI with the motor.

Look through the Information Overload hour stuff, too. Len has done some nicely detailed write-ups on just what you need to do for various engine swaps.
