Anyone going to the Ontario Vintage rally this weekend

Never seen a thread, although i know two of us are heading down for this event:

I will be there Saturday early for most of the day. Sent you a PM.

 

I'm going on Friday as long as I get an answer from a post I put up on the VRRA website. They are putting on a display there this year and I hope to see some of my old racing buddies, it's been a while. The weather is supposed to be good, but I judge the weather by looking out the door in the mornings.

 

Never got the message... I will be rolling down from hiway 6 on Saturday morning as well with what sounds like a bunch of FJs and my buddy on a vfr, don't hold it against him . if I don't hear from you I will pm you my cell number...

Hey all,

Had a good day, met some great people and got a deal! Lots of vintage stuff, heavy on the British bikes and light on the Yamahas IMHO... Anyhow I picked up a fairing for my seca (minus mounting brackets and windscreen) for 5 bucks... Here's a link to the album:

Rode down with some FJ1100/1200s and an FZ750... I think I might have to find one of those as well; they look so comfy and have lots of power! later!

That was actually quite a large event. The weather was warm and the turnout was big!

A lot of vintage parts and bikes there. The parts for sale , though, weren't labeled or organized. Most of the time I couldn't tell which bike the parts were for. ... They were just spread out together without any prices on them ..... However, it was still a great day!

It was great to just look at some of the bikes in the parking lot.

I tagged along for the ride and it was good to meet with some old and new friends....

Nice restoration on your bike Marcel. And to find that fairing.... Man, you have a horseshoe up your butt.

 

I couldn't make DAMN! I had to work on the wife's car. It wouldn't start when she was at Wal-Mart and it towed home. Tore it apart found bare wires on the camshaft position censor, got parts. Worked on car for a number of hours decided to replace front breaks while I was in the repair mode. Glade I did they where getting very thin. And we are traveling to Trenton for granddaughters first birthday this weekend. Well maybe I'll make it next year for the rally. Hope to have the Venture on the road for that one!
