push it back into place, drill a couple holes and use zip ties to fasten snugly into place. After about twu years the zip-tie will get brittle and break off.....just line up the holes and wrap another one through. I have about half a dozen of them holding the front of my TP Cruiser together where a deer decided to find out what a bumper cover feels like. It's been exactly two years since I put them in, and just recently, a couple have fatigued so I'm going to bring out the replacements shortly.

So just drill a hole through each side? I can just drill into the bumper?

Yeah just drill right through the plastic, I did the same thing on my Nissan Sentra a few years back.

Some cars have a thin metal plate between the two pieces of plastic, and the plastic 'bullet connector' or 'barbed connector/push-pin" thingie would go through all three peices. If you find that there is one of those in between, then you can also check to see if there is already a hole there that the 'barb' would have gone through. If there is, then just put a bolt though there with a washer on the top and bottom, use a locking nut or a nylon-internal locking nut and bolt it down tight again.

    Be creative.

And this is so people living in the "rust belt" can still enjoy the nostalgia of a rust-stained car, when it's made of fiberglass and plastic.

    Haha so true.

Drill a new hole through the two 'lips' and throw in a speed nut/body clip, works great.
