Just because I want someone to double check this and make me feel more at ease, the wet setting float level should this be level with the mounting flanges of the bowl, or level with the carb body base? Heres a quick pic for reference as to where they are currently http://imgur.com/HvZJieq they are all meeting that level. Last i knew i thought they should be even with the carb base, but wanted to double check before i go bending the float tabs.

Are you using gas? It looks to clear.

Yes its 93 octane e-10 gas. I ordered up a set of the all metal float needle assemblies from chacal and am just getting them installed. Its just been a few years since the last time i wet set floats and want to make sure they are correct. You know the usual dummie check.

I would said that is 3mm +- 1MM from the bottom of the carb body...button it up....& throw those carbs back on the bike & have some fun

Ah ok so the actual spec is 3mm +|- 1mm from the bottom of the carb body, sweet Im going to keep that in mind. I just always referenced the carb float bowl flanges for finding the level amount. Thanks guys, if thats the case Im going to call this a successful float setting.
