LOOKING for XJ or other Japanese bike in DC area

    Just moved back to N. America after a couple years in SE Asia and I'm BIKELESS! Yeah, it sucks. Long time member of this awesome site.
    It's a great resource.
    If anyone in the Washington, DC/NOVA or Southern Maryland region has a reasonably priced, running XJ or Japanese bike for sale, please let me know.

    Thanks for the lead. I'm not really crazy about the turbo model. I had one and it was very hard to get parts. Especially the waste gate, seals and so on. Maybe that's situation has improved. Though this one does look to be in very good shape.
    I'd love to find a decent 750 max or seca I can fix up and use as a daily rider.
    But now you've got me intrigued and I might just go check it out, even though it's bit beyond my budget.

    Okay, I'll admit it, I love all XJs but what I really want is an XJ1100 or XS1100 (basically the same bike). I want to do some touring with my gf and she's a very tall girl, 6 foot and LONG legs. I'm the same height and 210 lbs.
    I think we'd be kinda cramped on a long ride.
    I know the chances of running across a good 1100 are slim but if anyone has any leads, I'd be much obliged. Or a 900 would be great as well. I owned one a few years ago and it was a great ride. My buddy, John Oughton, up in Toronto is still riding her.
