Yes the its the stock colours, quite rare to find. The tank was £20 on Ebay,Nobody wanted it as it was dented,so I got it cheap and fixed the dent and sprayed it.I was thinking of stripping it and spraying it Black,Gold and Red in the stock colours, but now ive got Side Covers coming from Ebay- £10 for a pair, to match the Tank.I,ve got the Nose fairing, thats in black, so i'll be spraying again soon.

Any rust in the lowest point of the tank at the rear? All too common...have a good close look at the rear frame loop at the junction, a regular cracking spot..a mob in Poland sells the belly pans.

The tank lowers seem fine,i've been down the leaking tank route,Brazing then Tank sealing. On my XJ900 i only had it a week before the rear end collapsed  I've a good cache of spares so i've decided to use them and make another bike, included in that lot is a spare belly pan,its in the blue and white colours of my bike, so i'm loathe to use it for the rebuild.

Good find. That is the same colour scheme as mine. The seat looks in excellent condition. I had to get mine reupholstered to pass a roadworthy certificate.

Its a Two Four Guigliari Seat, another Ebay find £20...it looks good, but its not a comfortable as the stock seat......well it is Italian!.I,ve got a Front Fairing coming from Germany in matching colours,so it should look good when finished. The frame I've got is from a 1993 "L" registered Bike in the UK,but the colour scheme is Mid Eighties.I think its one of the better schemes, mine is Dynasty Blue and Silky White metallic,I didnt want another the same, the other correct alternative is a Grey and purple offering, which i didnt find as attractive.

I love the looks of that seat. Is there a source for it?
