You folks have been great so far, try this one. I'm not sure my XJ700 was correct when I bought it. I'm trying to figure out where the fuel line (one?) and the vacuum to the petcock, connect to the carbs.
Right now the fuel goes into a conector between #1 & #2, half way up the air intake. The vacume to petcock is coming from the same location between #3 & #4. Seems odd. The air to the canister is attached to a pipe pointing straight up out of #2. This leaves an unused port on the rod running between all 4 carbs, between #3 and #4. ??? Something doesn't seem right. Can anyone help? Much thanks and I bow to your collective wisdom.

Yes, this is a CA. bike with a canister. I can't make out this info in the manual I have. Any help on this would make you a super hero!

There is a screw-in fitting on the bottom center/rear of the fuel tank that has a vac hose that runs to one port on the vac cannister; the other port on the vac can has a hose that runs to that larger brass vac port on the #2 carb (off to the left side of the mixture screw port boss). If the bike does not have a Cali tank then that fitting on the tank will not be present.

Vac line from petcock runs to the #2 or #3 intake manifold vac nipple.

Fuel line runs from petcock to the fuel inlet "T" on the carb bank.

The bowl overflow/vent hoses (plastic T between 1/2 and 3/4) "run to nowhere", they are open to atmosphere.
