WTB XJ700 Maxim-X or XJ750 Maxim-X carbs

    Would like to try a different set of carbs in my watercooled 86 XJ700 Maxim-X. The carbs from the Canadian XJ750 Maxim-X will work.

    The carbs for an airhead XJ750 Maxim won't work.

    The carbs for an airhead XJ700 Maxim won't work.

    PM if you have a set to sell or if you have a #4 carb body for this bike.

    It doesn't. The 750 Max airhead (at least my '82) uses Hitachi HSC-32s. The '85 700 airhead uses Hitachi HSC-33s. The X uses Mikuni BS33s.

    No, I don't have any extras, just an FYI.

    I have a set but they would need a minor cleaning and new idle jets installed. I from your first post I have the feeling you are looking for ones that are ready to bolt on and go.
