Just found and bought a Canadian gauge cluster for my Turbo! Looks like it'll need a good cleaning but bye bye to the silly 85mph speedo!!

Now does anyone know for sure if its plug and play or do I need to do something with the speedo drive at the wheel to make it accurate?

I Think Your Good Man. It Should Just Install And Go If It For Your Year Make. The Only Thing That Changes On MPH And KPH Is How Its Stamped The Speedo Mech Is The Same

That would be cool if so! Now if I could figure out how to adjust the odometer to correct it for my bike's mileage... :?

When I swapped mine to a Canadian set this is what I did....I wrote down the miles off the original cluster, and the kilometers off the Canadian cluster and keep track of the climbing kilometers....then do a conversion and add to the original mileage from the original cluster. If you have the ability, swap the odometer from your original to the Canadian and it will spin at the correct speed for mileage.

Is your mileage lower or higher? If the latter, a drill should fix it :)

If it is lower, I think there's anti-tampering built into the system to prevent rewinding, but I'm sure there must be way to get around it.

Mine is lower, 28k miles, the new cluster is 58k kilometers...Not a huge deal really, but it'd be nice to have it the same...I do have a ratty spare stock cluster so I might pull it apart to see whats involved in switching the odometer out of my original into the new one, having it register correctly would be cool..

XJturbo, did you have to do anything to the speedo itself or is it accurate when hooked up?

    Change that 5 to a 4 and you're close enough :)

It's accurate, Just have to remember to look at the tiny inner mph indicators.
