HF torque wrenches have a bit of a nasty reputation for being inaccurate.

    +1.

as a young fella myself (recently purchased my first house) I thought I'd save the money and got one of these from HF. tried it the first time checking some torque specs on one of the bikes, and it wasn't making any of the clicks like I've heard about even when I can "feel" a certain torque amount.

Saving money now for the next Christmas season to treat myself with Craftsmen tools.

EDIT: but that's cool you got the same coupons as me! I think the magazine was either May or June edition if I recall correctly. I pay more attention to the pictures than that other minor stuff if you know what I mean :D

Yea my HF torque wrench was a big waste of money. Oh well, I'll only make that mistake once. Kobalt for me from here on out.

I buy from HF anything i'm gonna use real light duty, disposable, and misc odds + ends.

Some of my bigger purchases have been brake bleeder, crawler, electric impact gun, motorcycle lift, + jack stands.

I'm always iffy on anything heavy duty or precision from there. I'd stay away from the torque wrench, and I'm iffy on the float charger
