Went to the Yamaha shop to see if they had a part. Took a look at bikes for about an hour. That Yamaha bolt is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, and I want it! Good thing I don't have a garage, otherwise I might have been riding off with that thing today. It would sure be nice to have a low maintenance bike, just start her up and enjoy!

What do you guys think of the bolt?

Given the bobber craze (how many bobber threads are on here, anyway?) it seems like a smart move by Yamaha. They are selling a basic bike that can stay a bobber, or be accessorized as much as your wallet can stand. I bet they will make tons of money on the bling.

Personally, I find it kinda cool in it's basic form. Yamaha built a no-frills machine that looks very capable.

That's my mind set at the moment - Even though I still want to be my Maxim back on the road.

Yup just like any other new harley, honda, star, etc. They all have overpriced OEM branded bolts-on. (I looked and used their pricing app thing).

    I'm a fan of the Bolt. If I had a free 8k I'd get an r-spec.

    I looked at the specs.
You get a lot of Bike for 8-G's.

I'm sure that 8-G MSRP combined with a reasonable APR will put a bunch of those Bolt's on the road.

It looks like a Harley 883 Sportster. It is nice looking but I don't want to drive a copy.

I think the Sportster looks better.
The Bolt's tank lacks character, the tail light is fugly and I don't care for the exhaust. Price is good.
    Would rather have the Stryker.

once I get done going over my 650
I am going to be modeling the body based on the Star Bolt
I have loved it since I first say it
once my S-cooter is paid off, I will probably buy one
    but that is years away
