Just signed up to the forum.

Also belong to Northwest specific motorcycle email list, but happy to have found an XJ specific one.

I grew up around motorcycles, but only just starting riding in the last year. My secca II is *my* bike (after failed experiment putting me on a ZX6E as my first bike), while my Sweetie has an 06FZR and said 96 ZX6E.

I signed up out of frustrated energy... I'm in the middle of a household move, and I was bad and didn't winterize my bike. I likely need to get the old gas (and stabilizer) out of the tank to have her start up. My XJ manual is moved to the new household already, but I need it here. doh!

So in the meantime I watch the pretty bikes riding in the warm sun, from the sidelines. grrrr

    cheers

Welcome aboard, I'm just up north of you in Washington.
Been enjoying great riding weather the last few days.

Most of what you'll find around here is dedicated to the 1980's Yamaha XJ series bikes. Air cooled shaft drive models for the most part.

We like share our misery of having quarter century old transportation!

Welcome and warm greetings D. Don't fret the Seca II we still welcome everyone. Had a decent experience with one I worked on some years back. Some very subtle similarities to the original. Not a bad commuter.
