    Can someone help?

I've got a connector on the front of the carbs that should have a pipe connected, this is between the engine and the carbs. It comes out of the middle carb on the inlet side, but I cant work out where this connects to, I've had a look through the manuals and I cant find it...?

Post a picture. Your description is somewhat vague.

Bit of a wild guess, but could it go to the boost unit or pressure sensor?
The boost unit is wired to the loom but also has a pipe where a hose gets connected.
Same thing is on the XJ1100.
As i say, just a guess.
