Anyone mounted Sportster forward controls on a XJ750 Maxim?

Looks like these would fit our bikes but before I go and try to find some to measure has anyone done this already?

I know TC has a forward control set but I like these and for only about $75 more once you add the needed kit to the TC kit the factory harley set MAY BE a quality advantage.

I'm interested in this too.... not that I want Harley parts on my bike... but an alternate source for forward controls has my attention....

 

For me it has nothing to do with who makes them but more the long term smoothness of the controls.

I do not know the following from having a set or been told but just an observation;

It seams like the surface area that the TC set has (only the thickness of the plate) would lead to wear and side to side motion where the HD set has a wider contact point and would not wear as badly and be smoother in the long run.

Again just an observation not a quality problem that I have heard of at all.

 

See what I am talking about? The plate that rotates has a narrow contact point and it seams as though that would dig into the the shaft it is rotating on and wear greater.
