I haven't seen many posts on this site for the 600s. Most of you seem to have Maxims or older Secas.

I want to do a few mods on my bike; however, I am a bit afraid to screw them up. First I want to convert my lighting to LED. I would like to know if anyone has seen any type of fendor eliminator kit for my bike. I have an I dea for a custom one; but, afraid of screwing up. I have a 4-1 Yoshi exhaust, the muffler has some road rash that I "might" be able to get out. If not, any ideas on how to get the screws out and replace it. I haven't been able to find one from Yoshi any where on the web.

I also want to get pods to replace the air filter. Having a hard time figuring out what will fit.

Also, if anyone can get ahold of the fairings on the left side of a Seca II in good shape, let me know.

I will post more later. I think this is enough for now...

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

I too, would love to know about a fender eliminator! But I have a 85 Maxim X, so it would defenitely be different.

Played around with using the taillight off of an XS850 Special last night, fits pretty nice, with some custom brackets and a custom license plate mount, should work out good...

I guess when I said fender eliminator, I didn't mean getting rid of the whole thing!
JK I saw in your post what you are doing. I would love to know how that works out!

 Figured you had seen it already, just had to check. LOL, I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going to do it or not yet. If I do, it probably won't be till next winter anyway. I'm going to leave the bike all stock and just focus on getting things fixed for this riding season, then start modding over the winter...

That sounds like my plan too. I want to get a good feel for how the bike is stock before I decide what needs to be upgraded.

I think you would find extensive threads on all of the above topics except for a fender eliminator for your specific model and an exhaust for your specific model. But it seems as you said, there are not many (or any) people here with your specific model. Sorry for the bad news, but I would highly suggest a search. You will find tons of good information for most of what you are looking for.
