    hello to all on this forum i have just last night found this site and today i
    picked up my first xj it's a 750 and at the moment thats all i can tell you
    i may need some help to identify exactly what model. i have looked at the post regarding vin's & id's and it confused me a bit (not hard to do) :lol:
    the bike has a number plate on it and it and it refers to a 1986 registration
    here in the uk, the thing is having looked at the post on vins if iam right the bike is a jap import and year of manafacture is 1981 :? usualy here in the uk
    when a bike is imported its given an age related number plate so it should be on an a x or y plate so what gives..
