1985 XJ 700 for sale.

Air cooled maxim, 24K miles all powdercoated, shiny red and black, tank coated inside with POR 15. Its beautiful and rock reliable as these are well known to be.
No problems with it what so ever in 6 months of winter riding.

Bike is in Charlotte NC and 200 miles radius delivery is possible for gas $$. Would like it to go to some enthusiast who'd rather ride than tinker, instead of some blue book quoting hick who cant tell a good bike form one that has a hole in a piston. True story. He said this was over priced and bought some else for $1200 that needed "just a battery", of course putting the battery in made it sound like a jack hammer when he hit the start button. Anyway enough rant. ride it, see it, what you see is what you get, I can show you the things internals if you want - valves I mean. heck I'd show you how to adjust them and do carb maintenance as well if you want.
