Carb Identification

    How can I tell what my carbs are? I think they are hitachi but not sure. The bike is a 82 xj750

    The 750s came with Hitachi HSC-32 carbs. If you suspect that the carbs on your bike are not original you can look on the bottom of the float bowls for the model numbers, and the sides of the carb bodies for the maker's mark.

    stock carbs on the 650 and 750's are hitachi. If you think they might be anything else post a pic and we can let you know.

    They must be hitachi I see the symbol on the side of the carb but no model number. Thanks for the info.
