I am just curious. I have an 82' 550 and was wondering if it is at all possible to swap out the front end of my 550 at the neck with a front end of a 750? I ask because I am looking for possible better front suspension and take advantage of the dual front brakes that the 750 has. So can this be done and would it even be worth it?

Not 100% sure, based on steering stem size.

Is it worth it? Not really. A single disc system on the front of a 550, properly rebuilt and upgraded with stainless lines, has plenty of stopping power because the bike is so light.
