    Hi just obtained my first xj its an 83 550 maxim I bobbed the back end, chopped the fenders, filled the badge marks, custom lights, custom molded a seat, new clutch and basket, plugs, oil and filter, all new cables, new intake boots, cleaned the carbs, followed instructions I got from this site and replaced all the valve shims that were way off, painted it satin black with 2 red rally stripes, new tire and brakes, lol didn't think I would be into it the far but I have kinda fallen in love with it, its runnin decent just need to get the carbs cynced ill try n get pics up soon
