gasket sealant on carb bowls?

    Due to time issues, I have made some gaskets from the fiber type gasket material for my carb bowls. Do you recommend I use gasket sealant or apply form a gasket as well, or just pop them in dry.

    Dry on one side; oil or silicone grease the other side.

    Or just dry. They shouldn't need sealant to do their job.
