Can someone tell me the ft. lbs. torque for the YICS passage bolt? I have a manual but unfortunately it's been hiding from me since a recent move. The only reference I found was on a making a home-made YICS tool site and it stated to tighten the bolt to 100 ft. lbs., "tight but not gorilla tight". To me, 100 ft. lbs. is beyond gorilla tight! 100 ft.lbs will rip the threads out. You probably miss-read it 100 inch.lbs is more realistic. I don't know what the book says .

You're right my friend! I went back and it does say 100 INCH pounds. Thanks for making me go back and read it slowly. I thought to myself, "Dang that's crazy tight!" So I didn't do it.
    Now this makes more sense>>>
100 inches pound force = 8.33333333 foot pounds

    Thanks!

Thanks Maverick. I went with about 10 ft-lbs but I can give 'em a little more torque now.
