Ron, softw are can be purchased thru Amazon. Starting at about $50. My wife runs an older version, for working at home on snow days. But still it's cheap enuf, and does the trick

Sorry to hear this Rick. Did you ask the doctor to check the brushes and do the clunk test. You are a great help to us all.

Well, ain't that a pile of suck...

Sorry to hear it. Science does progress pretty fast these days, though, so there is always a chance they will come up with some nifty fix for it.

Let's hope searchers would find good medication to help you control the symptoms or, even better, get rid of it.

Life is the ride, shit might keep you away from motorcycle's, but it does not keep you away for living (until it does). I pray for you (and all of us) that when it does, that your hair is slicked backed from the wind and that your loved ones are around you to enjoy the time you got on this earth.

I wish you decades more of that ride.

Prays and thoughts with you and yours.

    Hey Rick,

That is some bad news no doubt. Life's all about dealing with curve balls, wrecks, disease, and heartache isn't it? Hope I wind up being able to ride for as long as you are currently. Long may you run!

Yeah, you've got that lovely 900RK in your stable, Rick. Some 17X8.5 wheels and limited slip differential from a Yama quad or (insert favorite muscle car here).
Anyone ever see an XJ triked out before :?

Don't let the diagnosis get you down. There's some pretty cooldeep brain stimulation stuff for treatment these days. Check out around the 6 minute mark for the good stuff. It's pretty miraculous.
    "How are you today, sir?"
    "Upright and sucking wind"
or as my grandfather used to say
    "Upright and taking nourishment"

Best of luck to you on this journey.

Getting old sucks, period. I'm not liking it.

Hang in there old bean; and when it's not safe for you to be on two wheels any more, park it. You and only you will know when that day comes.

The experiences will be with you forever; and the wealth of knowledge doesn't go away because you're "garaged."

We've all learned a lot from you, I know I have. We're here; and we're still learning.

Be well and stay with us.

    So sorry to hear.

For what its worth, my father has stage 3 parkinsons and is 80, he's still tooling around the house doing yard work, giving my mother hell and generally being my crazy old father. His memory is going but we are thankful its not alzheimers.

We only received the diagnosis late and have limited treatment options, if you catch it early you have a lot more options!

    Damn Rick, sorry to hear.....

There seems to be a ,lot more of it around these days, but also a lot mre treatment options.
Keep active and engaged and doing the things you love to do.

You and Fitz were mejor factors in me getting my Baby Max runnig (otherwise I'd probably still be growling at it my back yard) So I expect you to keep driving home the basic points and sharing those little tidbits that work so very well. All the newbies will be needing that info :)

(Also after acquiring the SV earlier this year, haven't sold the Max yet, will be storing for the winter and depending on spring finances, may end up holding on to her yet....)

As you can see you have a lot of support and fans on here,,,,,
    Take care
