    Welcome bro! A couple suggestions for you.

    1. check your tire and brake line date codes, as well as the rear brake for delamination. SAFETY FIRST. a 31 year old bike is NOT the same as a 31 year old car.
    1a. read the link in my signature. probably the best, most comprehensive re-conditioning thread on here.

    2. Search for a thread called "be the bunny". it will give you some good suggestions for safe riding.

    3. look for a local MSF class. Well worth it.

    Sorry I didnt get back to anyone it has been a rough few months lost my Dad and my grandmother is in the hospital and its not looking good so I haven't been going online as much lately. Thank you guys for the welcome and thanks for the info I will read it. My motorcycle was working grear for about two days then the battery died and I let it sit but will make a new thread about what is going on with it now.
