Just came across a couple pictures I've taken on trips/rides and thought i may as well share them, i have many many more, but I'll get to those when i have less work that i should be doing right now, lol.

In washington state, going over the north cascades -

Oh and I like to dabble in poetry when i find my mind idle, and this picture was the inspiration to the following poem:

so easy is it to forget
    to pause along the way
    the mountain that lies ahead
need not be summited in one day

we set out on this mission
    to succeed did we not?
    so why define success
as only making it to the top?

    instead i choose to see
    each step a victory
    continuing along my journey
    disbarred from norms of society

    sometimes i may stumble
    and backwards i may fall
    through weakness strength is born
    i'm only human after all.

And this from idaho i think, perhaps? IIRC near cor de alene.

I'll post more pictures as i find them, hope you found them enjoyable!

I have to admit, I'm a bit envious of you. :) It's awesome you're able to travel on your bike across the country like you have. Great photos!

Wow, great pictures! A cross county trip is on my bucket list. I recently went on a 700 mile trip but that was only TN & NC. I want to go west.

The bridge picture in SD must be on the Missouri river, where was that shot? I once lived in SD ...rode an SR500 back then.

For long trips, You oughta try a windshield. It makes the ride so much easier :) For me, I'm too old to ride w/o a windshield no matter the distance. lol Good looking bike. Was that rear rack made for the Yamaha, or did you do some mods to make it fit? I found an old goldwing rack and did some mods to make mine fit.

Nice! Any noticeable performance difference with all your elevation change? Thats gotta mess with your carb tune a little bit...

Thanks! Haha yeah there have been a few times that I have thought a windshield would be nice, but I decided to take my trip the day before I left so there wasant really time to track one down, lol.

But it's not all that bad, helps strengthen the ol neck muscles ;)

And the rack came with the bike when I bought it, so I can't really comment on that, but no it's not modified.

Yeah, sure noticed it sometimes, but then again some of that had to been also related to what I was carrying and the grades I was going up. But overall she still had plenty of go in her when needed, there were plenty of times that the needle stayed buried ;)
