As my TCI has probably gone bang, I am working on building a replacement unit. If I am successful, would anyone be interested in buying one? I am already working on several EFI systems, electronics is what I do.

The unit will be non-programmable, just set to factory timings. Maybe have a bit of adjustment, a few degrees either way, but nothing major.

There is an outfit in Europe, Czechoslovakia maybe, that makes TCI replacements. There is a guy in the U.S. that has been doing batch imports for the Ventures, where failure is common.

You might want to look them up. Ignitech is their name I believe. In line four ignitions are all pretty much the same. They've probably got one on the shelf, might just need a map for it.

Oh heck, I googled them for you: IGNITECH

Ouch, they are expensive, I've built an EFI system for less. May have set the 750 on fire 4 times, but that's due to a leaky manifold.

I got one from a company here in NZ that make them $270.00 NZ dollars. They sell them on eBay. Bike has never run better!
