    Tuning:

I dress the Ground Electrode on NEW Spark Plugs with 800 and 1000 because I think the bike likes me better if I do that for her! Plus ... In my mind, it's worth the effort for the Checkered Flag I bring home, every - single - time - I - take - my - bike - out - for a ride! Plus, it prevents me from being shot-down by enemy fighters. You need to or you can't get Warp Speed.

    Pimping:

I "Paint" with Armoral. Little Tuna-can full of some fresh Armoral. Nice little artists brush ... hit the Intakes, Air Boots, Rubber stuff all over the bike ... all the cooling fins ... the air valve to the inner tube ... the knob for trip reset.
I love the stuff. 'Gimme an Absolut and Armoral on-the-rocks" ... a "White-Ricky"

What is dressing the ground electrode? I assume it has something to do with sandpaper?

Try Turtle F21, It's not greasy like ArmorAll.

Another trick is to take an unused celluose sponge, spray ArmorAll or F21 on it until it's good and damp (not soggy) and wipe down with that. When gone, give a few extra sprays, and toss it in a ziplock bag for next time.

Instead of Armor All try Meguires no 40 Vinyl and Rubber protectant. It is not slimy and greasy like Armor All and lasts longer per application. I use it on the tonneu cover for my truck and the interior trim and it doesn't make the seats or steering wheel slick as ice or sticky.
