Just wanted to say thank you all. For me not knowing much at all about motorcycles in general to getting an XJ and have this site and members available and willing to help everyone - it just is a great thing and most take for granted. So thank all of you, even if I haven't read your post or have met you yet.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Welcome to the site !!

Gear-up and get someone to teach you how to ride - - in traffic !!

But since you're most likely freezing right now, look thru some safety stuff on-site
    \/ \/ \/ (other stuff too)

Thanks. I have been riding off and on for the last year. Took the MSF coarse and have been playing in traffic haha. Have an older sport bike and wanted the best of both worlds, so I got a really nice XJ700 that I have been bringing up to speed. Have been Replacing most of parts for saftey - tires, brakes, brake lines, learning and have completely rebuilt the carbs, etc.

Hooked up with Chacal and hogfiddles already - so far I'm on a roll.
