    Looks like he hung them on the front of the frame.

    It's almost for sure a repaint; did you notice the body-color front fender, blacked-out valve cover and black lower fork legs?

    It's an '82 (or maybe even actually an '83 if he went by mfg. date) painted in 1981 colors. If it is actually an '83 then that would explain the non-"original" fairing--- the '83 didn't come with the fairing.

    Nice bike though and probably worth the $1200 he wants (his reserve.)

    Something is off about that seller. He says it has 17K on the 160mph speedo. In the pics he has, the stock speedo is shown with 30 miles on the odometer. The turn signals also aren't stock.
