XJ650 tank badge

    Will a tank badge from an xs1100 fit an xj650 Maxim? I refuse to pay $100 for those things.

    I actually just got one of these in for my xj650 and they dont fit!!! the XS1100 wholes are 106mm apart, while the XJ650 wholes are 100mm apart. the guy on ebay also doesnt accept returns for this reason so im out $40 now. so dont buy these!!

    I ordered tank badge from their Canadian site for my 550 was a perfect fit.

    Not officially but yes.

    There is virtually no discernible difference between the 550 Seca, 550 Maxim and 650 Maxim tank badges other than the model-prefix numbers cast on the back. I can say that definitively because I have examples of all three in hand right now.
