replaced the valve cover gasket, that was easy
then replaced the Bolt Gaskets.. taking the old ones off
    that sucked..but got it done
    Battery charged.. TCI disconnected

    1 130
    2 110
    3 105
    4 125

this test was done cold and no oil was used

I should be able to proceed with my build yes?
or should I worry about the slight differences?

    thank you

assuming this is a bike that has been sitting and hasn't run in awhile, those are decent if not a little sporadic numbers. the low numbers likely being the ones that sat with valves open.

Did you get the valves in spec first ? throttle held wide open ?

    yes and yes
    I rechecked too
like I said.. I would have loved to warm the
    engine up to do this
but due to needed a new fuel line and not feeling like
getting a messy basement.. I am working on it in my house
I opted for a cold test
    also no oil was used
bike has been sitting since I got it home in November
was ridden very little in the last few years
however it is shown that maintenance was done
I have only discovered this by expecting none was done

    I'd be worried, ~30% difference from #1 to #3 isn't a "slight" difference.

Something seems to be off, be it valves, rings, or gasket.

It's been sitting a while. Get some heat in those cylinders and then try the compression test again. I've seen lots of bikes that have been sitting come back a long way with an oil change and a spirited 50 mile ride. It will also tune better once it's got some time running again. One of my 1100s had those kind of numbers and that was 25000 miles ago.

I am going to continue with my restore and overhaul
I am not overly worried that I am dealing with a
    complete lemon anymore
once I get everything moving along I will test again
and I am not worried that those numbers will come up
and the variances are not worrying me too much
it is funny I keep finding maintenance that has been
done to this bike.. well except for the brake line
