I had some time on my hands the past few days so I went a head and completed some of my pre-riding season maintenance. Checked my valves, inspect rear brakes, replace front brakes, check tire pressure, and charged up the battery. Shot a little video of it running for the first time since I parked it back in October.

What have you done to your bike to get ready for the riding season?

made a set of highway pegs, using harley 3.5 inch chrome blocks. They are perfect length, blocks fit just passed the engine side cases. The pegs do not stick way out. Waiting for my seat to get new foam and cover.

Checking the valves isn't that difficult, getting everything put back together without damaging the gasket. Haha just a little tight in the spacing department, at least on the 400 anyways.

Finished up the hi-capacity oil cooler today. It came from the Hyosung GT250.
I used the original oil line fixtures at the oil filter, but cut the hose off and socket welded a male compression fitting on for the hose. Drilled the oil cooler to fit a 1/4 'male MPT to compression fitting. This oil cooler is 2 X bigger than the FZ600 cooler It replaces.

The pile of snow in front of the garage is growing almost as fast as the box of parts for installation this spring. It's still too cold out there to tackle any of the projects without my fingers going numb in 30 minutes.

    Current list:
Convert to tubular handlebar from stock, install SS brake lines, new mirrors (like stock), modify 650 king/queen seat pan to fit on 750, install crash bars and highway pegs.

Not sure if it'll ever warm up...........

I lost one of the idle-air screws for my friend's Virago...oops. A new one will be here Tuesday. Once that's set right it will be ready to deliver.

Cut some pieces out of a thin metal sheet to fix my front fender, drilled dozens of small holes in them so the epoxy has a better grip, will post the result (if it doesn,t look too bad...)

    Yep. They're still disassembled.
