Alright guys, its been a while since I have been on here but that's only because the max was running great for the past few years. But after I got it out of storage for a ride today it decided to pee on the garage floor while it was warming up. I took the seat off and looked down the intake and the bottom of the air box is filling up with fuel. It looks like it does it mostly at idle because when I took it out for a spin there wasn't any pooling up/ draining until it sat and idled. Also the responsiveness/ overall feel to the ride was on par with how it always is.

Any ideas? I also poured in some seafoam to try to see if that would clean up and stuck up junk in the carbs, but that didn't seem to help.

    Any ideas?

Take a screw driver and tap on the bowls. Definitely check the oil for gas. It can run right down the crankcase breather tube.

And definitely quit running it til you get the gas out of the crankcase, even if it runs fine. You could destroy the motor.

You'll need to dig into those carbs to check out those floats - forget the Seafoam . BTW I've never had any luck tapping the carbs on ANY bike, besides it only delays the inevitable...Is there rust in that tank?

By the way you 'may' also need to check your vacuum operated petrol tap - the other item that protects you from getting a sump full of petrol :(

And there is your answer. You have a stuck float, and probably a crankcase full of gas by now. Stop running the motor, and fix it.
