ok, i guess im glutten for punishment, i accuiered a gpz turbo, cam snapped in the head, was told the pistons were burned, but i see no evidence of that, the self acclaimed "mechanic" took it apart with the motor in the bike still, and put the cyl and head and everything else he ripped off in the weather for the last "2 years" ( even though the tags and all the rustsickles say 1992) so, i am going to restore this bike as well, so i am telling myself, but would like some input on this thing, and i need some parts, upper motor, whole motor, pistons, bla bla.cosmeticly its in perfect shape. i just got a camera, so pics of all this crap is on its way. (so i keep telling my self) :)

Oof. You're a braver man than me to be taking on such a project with such a rare bike. You may be in luck, however, since I bet most of the parts are common to the GPz 750, except HD bits like pistons and cranks. Rod are probably different, since the compression was lowered, and it may have a different head gasket. You will probably need turbo cams, since they are usually timed for less overlap than NA cams to prevent all your boost from going out the exhaust. I hope and pray the computer is ok. I don't know if the US got the Z7RS a few years back, but considering it's basically the same engine, you might be in luck for rings and gaskets and stuff. That's a neat bike when it's done up properly. Don't forgert the turbomotorcycles.org site. If you dig around there, you will find links to other sites as well. One guy there has a 750 putting out over 200hp with a 190+mph top end speed.

ya, so far the only info i can find is that the cyl are the same for a n/a gpz, and the heads are "straight off" a gpz 650. so all i really am hurting for is cams and pistons, which supposedly a friend of a friend has that. so well see, but man i am so excited about getting this baby on the road, i'll come see all of you, lol. ROAD TRIP!!!!!!, :D
