Maybe a dumb question, but is the info from the Haynes manual on the XJCD, or is it just another separate resource?

Thanks for the link. I tried searching for it before and didn't find it. Are there any other manuals out there for our 85 700 X's?

    BTW good post Nammy

The CD contains information gleaned from the factory repair manuals and other sources. It is a bit more extensive than the Haynes but I would judge (and this is just me talkin here) that you can wing it with just the manual or CD.

Personally i dont like the haynes manual i bought just dont seem to explain that much in detail or give you much for pictures to follow or know what they are talking about but does help to have in some jobs to do.
