Nice day here in Milwaukee, so I decided to go the "Full Monty" and check the valve clearances and record the shim sizes on the XJ750 Maxim...so here goes:
    Exhaust: #1 .16 (.270) - #2 .19 (.275) - #3 .18 (.275) - #4 .19 (.265) ALL OK

    Intake: #1 .10 (.285) - #2 .10 (.285) - #3 .10 (.285) - #4 .12 (.285) Number 1-2-3 all need next size .280, Number 4 OK

So, I'm in need of 3 .280 shim....I have a .265, .275, and two .290's anybody want to trade? otherwise I'll be contacting Dave and the shim bank...
    Thanks in advance
    Pat
