    What size is this screw/bolt?
    90153-06004-00

The one that holds the cable to the speedometer hub on the wheel?

Riding along my speedo dies, I"m thinking Oooo Great another Freak'n cable... when I stop and check *Phewww cables good, just lost that Freakn little bolt/screw. If anyone knows the size a quick run to hardware store will get me going, or is it a special Yamaha only part?

I suspect uniqueness of some sort.

I plugged the part number into the Yamaha "reverse-lookup" fiche, and got: That's it's ONLY application, on dozens of bikes.

Probably not a hardware store bit; the Yamaha bolts tend to have odd pitches compared to what's readily available. Auto parts, maybe.

    I would ask chacal.

Thanks Fitz! I ran and got a handful of different sizes and lengths. M6x16 with 2 washers seems to have snagged a few threads up top, but could feel about a 1/4" of threads along the side of the hole before it grabbed. Made sure to put some lock tight on it and snug it up nicely. Tomorrow will tell if it holds or not on a 700km ride. R.O.C.K. Ride in Sarnia.

well I went with an M6 X 10 which seemed to match the bolt/screw I removed. Seems to be holding fine. Added a lock washer that was not there but I believe should be based on the fiche. Thanks!
