CL 86 Maxim X that someone should snatch up quick!

This is not my Craigslist ad, just one I thought the XJ enthusiasts here on this site should be aware of.

As the ad states, a complete titled Maxim X for $300. It's actually and 86, not an 85 as he mentions.

Trouble is (actually and added bonus I think) that you have to figure out what to do with the GS1100 that goes with it as a package deal.

That's what the large bore handgun is for, in case it is a scam or if they're going to try to rob you when you get there.

 

Could possibly be a scam...being there's no phone number in the ad.

Then again, some people just give up on fixing them 'cause they can't afford the shop fees and cost of parts if they aren't capable of doing it themselves.

One of the parts bikes I got was an 86 X (not running with no title) for $100.
Cost me more in gas, trailer rental, and tolls than I paid for it.

and.....it's gone! Lasted for less than a day. SLKid did you buy it?

If not, hopefully they're a member here. Let's see if someone posts a "New bike" in a day or so.

 

I Hope SLKid got them..... #1 cause it would be great if one of our own got them and made them whole and happy & #2 to remove that temptation from me! I had gone so far as the check the time and distance from Clayton, NC.. about 4 1/2 hours...easy peasy. Of course I need them like I need another Ex-wife.

 

Ha Ha Fuller, funny thing is that I checked the time from CT as well.

And, if I were to buy another project (being that money is tight at the moment), it would transfer me to Ex-husband status in a heartbeat.

or it was a typo and he pulled the ad----maybe it was supposed to read $3000.00
