thats is some sort of yamaha. u can tell by the gauges and gas cover, but i dont know what is up with him sliding everywhere. maybe he has bald tires on the bike, or it looks like it just had rained a little bit and the road could be greasy from not raining for awhile then being wet like that will make it very slippery.

I agree with Shooter; no rain for a few weeks then when it does all the oil from other vehicles rises to the surface and boom! Ice skating rink. Or his tires were just crap.

Diesel, it's everywhere over here and as you probably know, if the roads are a bit damp it's almost invisible
That said, it's rare that I lose grip, possibly correct about the guy's tyres

The bike is in serious need of rear shocks; and probably needs the forks rebuilt too. But watch the video closely, almost every time he has a "steering" issue the bike is either porpoising or wallowing-- the rear shocks are long gone.

Based on that knowledge, I'm betting the tires probably aren't in all that great condition either.

looks like a 650 maxim i'd say with the gauges, tank, and right side controls.

May be oil at least two times, but one time it is clearly sand on the road, I'd bet he's got crappy tires.

The engine doens't sound like a twin.

They do actually! The amount of trucks & buses that slosh diesel all over the place (specially roundabouts, those circular things we ride/drive around so much  ). Actually I thought he was giving it quite a lot of "beans" considering the damp cold roads & aforementioned diesel risk.
And is it just me, or do these on-bike videos always make riding a bike look so much scarier than it actually is?

He's in Scotland, so the roads are always wet - not a fresh rain/oil issue or all the Scottish riders would be in the ditches. He just needs better tires, and shocks.
