    Hey Guys,

Spring looks to soon be upon us, good times! I've had a look at my shabby looking side covers (scratched, faded, worn out looking) and decided to try and freshen them up a bit.

There was an old tin of gold leaf paint, so I found a small brush and started on the "SECA 750" on my beat up side cover:

Nothing fancy for sure, but IMHO it'll look a lot better than having half the foil worn off. Used some gloss black paint to cover up a crack on it after repairing with some JB weld as well. I'd love to find another right side cover but holy smokes they're not to be found...

I just did the same thing but I painted mine a bright gray to have them pop more than the gold. Used an artist brush and a steady hand...nothing fancy but gave a nice vintage look.
