Ok folks...... The long-awaited announcement!!!!

The CNYCC#7 is scheduled for------(drum roll, please!)

Yes, just about 20 mi south of Utica.

What all does this entail? I'd be interested in riding out there from Columbus, Ohio.

 

Carb Clinics are:

Where you can bring your bike to have your Carbs balanced
Have shim clearances checked
Have a great time meeting other members
Have other things worked on on your bike
Learn how to do other repairs
Help others with their bikes
Have a great time eating, talking, drooling, etc....about other bikes

At the end of the day, we all go for a ride on our freshly tuned xj's.

I do not charge a registration fee..... and there is no membership fee, either. I do ask that if you have a special skill or particular repair that you're good at, that you plan to do mostly that for whoever needs. I'll have most of the fools needed, but if you have room to bring your own, that would be a help, too.

There will be plenty of food, and if you wish to bring something for the table, that's great. Again, there's no registration fee, its open for everyone. I do appreciate donations towards the cost of food.....it helps me be able to keep doing these from year to year, as the food isn't cheap. I put on a lot of 'dogs and burgers, and there's plenty of soda and coffee, too.

There are plenty of hotel accommodations in the area, and some people have brought tents and thrown down on the lawn.

I'm sure others that have been here will chime in and add more comments!

What is the usual attendance for this sort of thing? I know nothing about carbs, but I would LOVE to learn, and I would be happy to help others in the process!

Nooooo!!!! I can't get the weekend off. In the haberdashery business, father's day is one of the largest volume "holidays".
