Tried to buy a couple parts from that guy with the CL ad, he was willing to ship...long story short I indicated I'd use PayPal and he didn't tell me until our next exchange of email that he didn't accept PayPal. I looked again at his ad and sure enough no mention of "I don't accept PayPal". So, beware if you want parts and only use PayPal. I don't trust other methods with just anyone on CL, at least here on XJBikes it's a community where trust is built.

Would love to have the side covers and exhaust. But the exhaust may be too expensive to ship. Not sure how it comes apart.

Left and right mufflers separate at a cross connection. Two headers feed each side unlike for examples an xj750 Maxim or an xj550 Seca that have a collector part between both the headers and the mufflers. Anyway, the exhaust is somewhat heavy and relatively big so shipping would not be cheap.

Watch out for the guy selling these parts. I just contacted him via email about some parts. I asked a few questions but apparently I asked too many cause he got really rude and told me to just keep looking elsewhere. He's crazy if he thinks people will buy parts sight unseen without asking questions to make sure they're in good shape. Just a warning.

That makes at least two of us then. Sounds very familiar, I had the same experience. My advice to all, avoid that guy selling...or uh...advertising xj650 parts.
