Aftermarket coils?

    Anyone?

    I'd debating between dynacoils (whichever compatible model), or these provided they fit.

    At the price point, it seems like a pretty decent deal... (and it's Accel!!!) :)

    the 3 ohm part is right, at least for a 750. but have a look at how you would mount them with the towers on the side plus the boot and wire. also look at the holes to mount them, do they point the right way.
    i got a set of like new used Dyna coils for 60$

    You'd have to ask Chacal about whether the Dynas fit a 550 or not; if so, there's a handy tutorial on installing them. (The demonstration bike was a 750, but the same principle applies.)

    I asked him this myself, a while back. As I recall, the Dyna's will work on a 550, but there's no kit with new brackets or anything and the write-up doesn't apply to a 550. You'd be on your own for whatever physical mods are necessary to fit them in. I plan on tackling this one day, but other things are higher priority right now.
