It's been about 25 years since I had a bike on the ground...

...and now I'll start that streak over. :(

Dummy me was turning around in a friends driveway and snubbed the engine in a slow, full lock turn. Needless to say after what seemed like a slow motion replay my wife, myself and my Ninja were horizontal rather than vertical. Just my pride is hurt. The damage is minor but very irritating. :x

Left side mirror took the brunt of the damage.

A few scuffs on the fairing.

Still looks good from this side. :)

So let this be a lesson. When they say keep the rubber side down it's for a reason.

    Damn, sorry to hear Brad.

When I saw it rolling through the recent post scroll with you being the last poster, i was reallllly hoping it wasn't you.

But alas better in a driveway than skidding across 41.

I'm just glad it wasn't me when you let me take it for a zip around the block :D

Going to touch it up yourself or have it done by a body shop?

I'll think about what I'm going to do after my grief counseling. :D

OK. Now you can call it a street fighter!

Seriously though. Glad to see that it is only minor cosmetic damage. Beyond the wounded pride of course!

Len, grief counseling was a beer and a soak in the hot tub. :D

Schmuckaholic, Loco Moco's rule! I always make sure to have a few when I visit my favorite destination, AKA, Maui.

New mirrors and a set of frame sliders arrived today. I kind of wish I had the sliders a few years ago. :(
