neutral switch /wiring for 81 xj650

    Hi Stripped 2 motors , down to putting 1 back in bike after re storing , but still cant find the neutral switch which wasnt working before I stripped motor any way .Got a workshop manual but cant work it out. anyone to help

    What engine do you have? (put that info in a signature and we wont have to ask all the time) I believe most of the XJ's the neutral switch is on the bottom left.

    sorry about that slip up .I thought i was on the xj650 forum

    ,1 Motor is an 1980 xj 650,
    other is an 81 . Both are H series or Seca I believe,
