I have the full front fairing, uppers only.
The fairing will shake when I ride, not a lot but I'm sure the car in front of me is not happy with a dancing head light behind them.

So the question is does anyone else have this problem or no a fix for it.

I'm guessing that the lowers would have helped stabilized the fairing.

    Thanks,

Are there any small cracks in the fairing where the mounting hardware affixes?

I have discovered the same issue on my last few rides. Torqued the bolts connecting the mounting bracket a bit more and that helps. For me the actual mounting bracket is flexing

Well It looks like I'll get to experience the problem first hand in a week or two. I just purchased a sport fariing for an extrordinaraly reasonable price (if it shows up intact). Being a night-owl has it's advantages when cruising e-bay.

    Any luck Wiseguy?

Not sure if this is a normal occurrence with this bike but it seems like no matter what I try the front fairing shakes.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I believe they are but I am not positive. I'm probably going to get that done when I go get new tires put on. Just going down flat road it is normally fine, its just when I hit bumps or something rough.

    No luck,
what seems to happen is the bracket is like an L shape, attached to the frame and extends up ward and is just suspended there in front of the handle bars. So it just virbrates when riding.

I don't see a way to support it other than the lower fairing to support the weight and help balance it. this is why I was hoping someone else with a full fairing had any solutions.

K-moe I don't see this being a problem with the sport fairing that mounts to the handlebars.

Also while riding I can place my hand on the windshield and to make it stop vibrating at least noticeable vibrating.

Again it only bothers me when driving at night, with the headlight shaking in front of me

I found the problem with mine tonight. While looking at the front of my bike tearing some stuff off, I noticed there was a break in the bracket. I can post pics later but to describe what happened I believe there are two brackets involved in mounting the fairing to the frame. One that actually bolts to the frame, then the other that bolts to the fairing which is essentially a giant L bracket with a slight curve. he bracket that bolts to the frame, is broken right where it bolts to the frame, from the top of the bracket to where the bolt goes through. I may be describing this incorrectly but I can post pics tomorrow.
