Of course that was on a closed course and all that. Wow. That thing really stood up quick!

My 650 Maxim did it with out much provocation back in the day.

Alll you had to do was try a holeshot without leaning forward. 8O

Keep a eye out for steering neck bearings, you'll be needing them soon

I've never done that with a motorcycle, and don't intend to start now, either. I got the stupid stuff out of me she I was still riding a huffy bicycle back in elementary school.

#1. Skilled riders know now to accelerate smooth to avoid wheelies. Unskilled riders pop wheelies on open streets.

Ya sorry but this doesn't impress me at all. Kind of stupid.
I'm sure my bike could do it but why?

this bike doesn't wheelie unless u try to so does it really look like that happened just on accident?? Yeah don't bring up that skilled rider bs. actually I'm sure your bike would have a lot harder time doing a wheelie like that why would you wanna do that?? Idfk ask urself that beca I would say the same thing if I had a 1982 xj650 and I would never try that on such a bike.. also look at the date on the video I don't do that to my bikes anymore yep!

I stand by the skilled rider quote. Skills aren't just physical, they are equally about proper decision making. You yourself have said you don't that anymore, so you've become a more skilled rider.

I did it once, and my right knee has only recently stopped hurting, 20+years later from that little surprise. And, part of the repairs I have to do to the bike these 20 years on came from that dumb stunt too.

These ARE! powerful machines after all!
